Just joined the site and wanted to introduce myself!

I only accepted myself as trans a few months ago - it was an intense experience, and therapy has helped me make some sense of it.  But since I have, I've been happier and more at peace than I've been in my life!  Right now, I'm living as a man, doing as much research as I can so I can plan a transition properly.

I'm an artist, big into gaming (digital and tabletop, especially D&D), and studied game art in grad school.  I'm from Texas and come from a family that is surprisingly accepting for how religious they are - I think of them as 'hippies for Jesus'  .  Still, the thought of coming out is scary.

I'm friendly but a little shy, and am a bit of an armchair philosopher.  I love monsters, horror (especially possession movies! <3), animals, and all things geekish.  Feel free to say hi!

  I'm trans too imagine that. lol I'm Jeanette. I'm mtf, 64, in transition and at the beginning having started HRT in December. I am also a self appointed unofficial greeter her to greet you. Thanks for the welcome, guys (I use 'guys' as a neutral term, should I avoid doing that here?).  I'm glad to find a place I can ask all my questions, and I hope I can help others as well.
