So the other day I found this app for my iPhone that I now love! It's called FaceApp and you can basically take a selfie in the app or choose one you have already taken and it will automatically modify it to make you look older, younger or even change your gender. It will do it based on your facial features. So I tried and loved the result, but I had to check how accurate it was and used the "old" filter and it made me look exactly like my dad!! LOL...So I think the app is lovely! Especially for all of us pre transition to help us know how we might look when we do it. I don't really know if it's available for android though.

Yes it is, I love it, but is sneaky. Eyebrow lift, pupil dilatation, bigger eyes, eyelid lift. It takesa whole lot of surgery + bela donna eye drops to get you there

Yea not really made for that use ^^ still would be intresting to save those pictures and compare with one year after hrt

Some results from this app have been making the rounds here for a few weeks (at least).  I find it interesting trying to figure out what it does to feminize the face.

- skin and hair smoothing
- eye brow shape and position
- eye shape?
- face width
- cheek fullness

Yeah here's what it did for me.   Most notable is more hair and definitely made me younger.  I'll be super double extra thrilled if I ever look like that.

Drop a 40 px grid over the images and compare. You will have a better idea of where the changes in the face are.  There are a lot of subtle changes in that algorithm and the symmetry is perfect. It might be fun, but those changes would be difficult to duplicate with FFS.

This app seems like it sets us up for disappointment.  I'd rather not see a faked version of myself.

Really? I thought the changes were very subtle but at the same time effective.

Yes, subtle, but nevertheless!  Cheating by making pupils larger, and my eyes and mouth are larger, and my brows higher.

I tried it, it is great, now just have to go back 40 years to look like that ahahaha

Was able to save mine.  There is a down arrow next to the share options that will save to phone.  Need to have all four filled in the collage or change to duo first  to get just the 2.

I must admit, I looked weird to say the least...my head went all roundish (think Stewie from Family guy)and my eyes look like they are going to bug out of my head..but I did look younger Ha ha

I did the reverse and did the male one...haha now that was funny...I guess HRT has made far more changes than I realise...

That's how I felt as well lol. It gave me a confidence boost.

I wish that it would let me do the female filter without using the collage. But I think it's a great confidence booster like the ladies above said.
