So today I walked past a group of guys, one of them said hey to me while having a bit of a smirk on his face and when I mouthed hey back without really making a sound they all started giggling.
Does that mean they knew I was transgender?

It means you are letting your insecurities take over and worrying about nothing you need to be worrying about.  Ignore it and go on about your day.

You're a woman and a good looking one at that. Be confident in yourself and feel good.

Hugs,

Who cares? They noticed you, and reacted in a semi-respectful manner. You responded in kind.

Cool.

I would guess yes, they clocked you.  I suppose it could be something else that made them laugh, though.

why would they say anything to me if they did clock me?

Probably abit tipsy, more balls than they actually have, and egging each other on to annoy a pretty girl.
I doubt it was a clocking...

So that you would know that you'd been clocked.  Bullying is no fun if the victim doesn't know they've been bullied.

I was walking into a grocery store two years ago and one guy in a group said "What's up, bro".  I was looking at my phone when I was walking and I instinctively looked up at at him.  This made them all laugh.  I think they do it to make themselves feel good in some way.  Maybe it is group mentality.  idk.

it took me by surprise because it hasn't happened since starting hormones. They never looked back at me after they did it which made me wonder why.

I was just guessing that you were clocked because like you said, why would they engage you then laugh and not keep up talking to you?  It seems they were just getting their fun.

Some people, myself included, are very attuned to mannerisms, physical structures, a gender's common gait, etc., and can clock even the most unclockable.  Maybe one of them is attuned to the differences...?  Or, I am full of crap. lol

Nobody think they could be just chancy?
What time of the day was it?
They always end up with more cajones when in a group.
If it was chancy then who ever was being egged on was dumb.
If it was just to be hateful, then typical, in their big group, sados

How old were they?  A pretty girl saying anything to a group of shy nerdy types is enough to set them off giggling.

They look mid-late 20s. They definitely didn't look nerdy. I've seen those guys once before and they saw me, but never said anything to me.

Who knows, did you have tissue on your heel?  The point is, you'll never know why and you're beating yourself up over something impossible to solve....unless you find the guy/group and just ask.  What does your gut tell you?....that's usually close to the truth.

Guys doo stuff all the time, you will never know unless you run into them again and they ask you out. I was sitting in a Starbucks and a guy bought me candy

Angelique I am told that having confidence is one of the most important traits to have to gain acceptance.  Based on your pictures you are more blessed than most. You need to build up your confidence to the level of your attractiveness.

I highly doubt they clocked you.  I kinda think the whole thing about getting clocked is BS.  Today someone "clocked" me then corrected themselves, and I'm not passing very well yet.  People change their mind mid sentence.  The giggling was probably because it was flirting.

Could also have been a dare among themselves, "talk to the next chick who walks by" and they giggled when the guy did it.

If so, then why not?
