I'm not sure if this question has been asked before or ever.  I see a lot of us post about dating and dating issues.  Most of my transgender friends only date cis people. I don't get it.

No I don't mean cis in regard to their sexual orientation.  A good friend of my mine is a transman and he's gay.  There are loads of transgirls that are lesbian.  So I just meant in general regardless of who you are attracted to.  I'm curious to see if I'm the only transguy willing to date a transwoman.  Or whatever your sexual orientation is, would you be willing to date a transperson?

I voted no. I've dated other trans people in the past. They've been my most problematic relationships, so I'm not interested in giving it another go. Dealing with your own dysphoria is no fun. Dealing with another person's AND your own is even less fun. I don't have the patience for it. Sure it might be nice to spend time with someone who understands and gets it, but the trade off just hasn't been worth it in my experience.

Thanks for sharing that Max.  I haven't had the fortune of dating another transperson.  You gave it a shot so initially you weren't against.  I couldn't date a transwoman who was pre-HRT though.

I would  date a transgender guy...once he was past the lumberjack beard stage!   I dated a transgender girl for awhile.

If I was unattached I would date a trans man or trans woman. I think if they are nice, kind, and considerate it is a no brainer. Oh, pre-op post-op, it doesn't matter.

If I was looking to date someone, I would certainly consider a trans person if I was attracted to them and liked them.

Well, orientation-wise I'm pretty solidly attracted to women.  Combine that with phobia related to penetration, and I'm definitely in the women-only camp.  Cis or trans doesn't matter.  (My current crush is trans, but it ain't mutual.  Besides, I'm celibate for now until I know I'm more stable.)

So, I am basically just a lesbian, and not particularly concerned about how any potential partner got to where they are.  ;)

I definitely would date a trans Guy...I am finding as I become more and more me that possibly my take or leave it attitude to sex is pretty much due to having the wrong equipment...However having said that I am also married and would never break that vow(so its not likely to happen)...if the opportunity came up to date again in the future I would date guys I suspect and not girls. If I allow myself to really accept what I want then yes...I would date guys and since trans guys are guys then hell yes!! I would date one.

I would, have came semi-close once. Coming to the terms of being bisexual (tho, having no sex drive anymore it seems) for the last 10 years or so I couldnt see any reason not to date a trans guy or a trans woman. I would date non-binary too. To me, its all about the whats on the inside more so then the outside!

I would give anyone a chance provided I liked their personality/looks, they were trustworthy, and weren't crazy. I don't do crazy.

I actually visited a dating site that has both cis and trans people on it recently.  I started out looking at the cis male profiles, but most of them seemed to be looking for superficial hookups.  Some of the trans guys were looking for that too, but a fair number of them went out of their way to actually describe themselves and their interests, instead of just going for a dick pic as an avatar and leaving everything else blank.  I actually know a couple of trans men that I would totally date.  So I may end up liking trans guys better.  We'll see.

If I was emotionally physically attracted to a MTF than yes I could see my self with one.

As long as I liked the person I could see myself dating a transwoman or transman if I were single.
