A friend of mine pushed me to come out to my Mum today....so I did! Mum was incredibly supportive though she did confess she wasnt ok with it but she didn't scream at me or anything, just told me to make sure it's what I wanted. This now about day 9 since i discovered I was ts and what an amazing ride! I'm so happy, before I was extremely depressed just wanted to die and hate life.....I was asked how I was going to approach the journey infront of me and my reply was "Bring it on!!" *giggles happily* life is so wonderful at the moment, I was in tears of joy after I got off the phone with mum for being accepted. I love the new me it's just so amazing. Keep smiling :)

Love Aislin!

Aislin,
I too am glad that your mom took it so well; I know how unnerving that is I have recently came out to my parents and I was very nervous until it was completed, Congrats.

It could go either way with familes and parents......it's always a gamble. I didn't come 'out' as I was never 'in' and I've always been the same as I am now since I was 13, so there wasn't any drastic change to present to anyone..
