The U.S. Justice Department signaled on Tuesday plans to reverse an Obama-era regulation barring discrimination against transgender people in health care, including the denial of transition-related services and gender reassignment surgery.

Well...there it is...in black and white on paper.  Trump administration trying to remove trans-inclusive health insurance rights.

I feel so fortunate I slipped in through the window I did and was able to get my surgeries done...but I feel so bad for my transgender brothers and sisters who will not have the same opportunity that I did to be freed of their dysphoria.

It's time you write your Congressmen and Congresswomen, your state reps and political voices and let them know that this is NOT acceptable.

I knew this would happen and figured the window of opportunity for surgery would be brief. I dont even think this is the worst of it. I would not be suprised at all to see these people restricting transition related care at every level possible. Make no mistake about it, Trump's people are driven by conservative Evangelicals who's goal is to erase us.

This wont be the last of their efforts. They will surely move to restrict all transition related care from government-funded healthcare. You can count on that. It will come down to the courts to stop them. It's a priority for Sessions and Price to ruin as many lives of transgendered people as possible in the name of the lord.
