Poll: 64 percent of Americans support same-sex marriage

Americans' support for same-sex marriage has hit a new high, according to a Gallup poll released Monday.

Sixty-four percent of adults surveyed said same-sex marriages should be legal, a 3 percent increase since last year and the most support for gay marriage since Gallup began tracking the issue in 1996, when just 27 percent backed legalizing gay marriage.

Only 27% supported same sex marriage in 1996? yikes, glad I was born in 1994 and never saw such a low number for equality in my well observing and fully developed  consceince years.... I was just chewing on crayons 🙂

A very positive sign of our changing views as a culture. The entertainment industry, media, the internet and events like pride marches etc and much to do with this shift.
