Hi Everyone,

The lovely Laurie suggested I submit a post over here introducing myself. My name is Raine and I am a 23 year old youth worker living in Brisbane, Australia.

I have only been openly transitioning for a few months but I am lucky enough to have the full support of my family and my boyfriend of 6 years. I have been on HRT for almost 2 weeks now and I'm currently going through what I call my "ugly duckling" phase as I try and learn how to be the girl I want to be on the outside. It's like teenage girl puberty at 23! :P

I hope to be an active part of the Susan's community moving forward. Any questions don't hesitate to message me as I'm super friendly and love to talk.

Much love. <3

 Hi again Rainecloude,

We meet again! Imagine that. As I said I am Laurie, 64 and mtf on HRT for almost 5 1/2 months. I am also a self appointed unofficial greeter (Surprise Surprise!! ) for Susan's Place.  ((( Hugs )))  Welcome to the site Raine and come on in.  Thank you for doing as I requested. We are glad to have you here.  Grab a beverage.. coffee in on the counter along with hot water for tea, sodas are in the fridge, and water in in the tap. Help yourself and grab a chair.
If one of the official folks (admin and moderators) haven't done so already, you will get some helpful links for rules and info about the site that may come in handy later. You should already have the perk we get only after 15 posts like the avatar picture you have already and a few others. Well enough of that stuff.
Another Aussie, wow we are getting a lot of them, almost as bad as those wild dogs running all over Australia.  LOL not really but we do have quite a few of you folk here with us. (watch out for that Liz and especially that Cindy) Transitioning at 23? Wow that is soo great for you. You may even get the bone changes most of us were too old to get and of course there greater feminisation from getting the early start. I am jealous I didn't get my start until recently.
I'm glad, we all are glad you found us and want to be apart of the community. Please feel free to comment, make your own threads, ask your questions and generally share your life with us. Pull up a chair and get comfy and enjoy,
One last thing is there a name you would like us to use here or should we use Raine or Rainecloude?

  Hugs,
     Laurie

Thanks for the warm welcome. Raine is my legal name so that's fine but I'm not picky! :)

  Raine,
I wasn't sure of that and thought Rainecloude might be only a user ID but shortly after asking I saw you refer to Raine in another post.

Thank you, now we know and Raine It is.

Hi Raine!

Congratulations on starting the HRT! I think we all have had a time where we've been through that "ugly duckling" stage as you call it. So, don't feel like a black sheep.

Looking forward to seeing you around here!
