In the process coming out to my neighbors when I got the most funny question so far:

" Are you now afraid to break your nails or can you still help me mount a trailer hitch on my car and fix a few things on the house?"

His wife was pretty practical: "Give him a gift card for the nail salon..." (Guess he still has to get used to the new pronouns).

I am still laughing about this one...

That's great! So what did you answer?

My funniest coming out comment was from a coworker. She wanted to know if I was gonna be like RuPaul. I said a definitive no to that.

I was so perplex that the only thing I did was a two minute explanation of the different quality nail polish I own [emoji23] A year ago it would have been a 10 minute debate about tools we need.

Love it! I turned into a girly girl...

My wife asked me, on the night I came out to her - "does this mean you're going to sell your motorcycle?"

I always answer male pronouns thrown my way with "Wha 'he's are you talking about, Keemosabee?"
I usually get a laugh out of that one. Then there's always "And do I LOOK like a "he" to you? Just a minute ago you were asking me out to dinner!"
I always try to turn it around on the one making the mistake, and it usually works! And it also gives me the satisfaction of asserting myself as a woman and in control of my own life.
   Keep it real, sisters mine!
