Hello,

I have been 'full time' for almost ten years and have been on hormones the whole time. I never really thought about it before and no one ever said anything but I was wondering if I could get opinions on whether I may need facial feminization surgery.

[I removed the link to the image after receiving feedback for the purpose of privacy and security. I apologize but I was spooked by someone mentioning putting my photo out there being a risk]

I don't think. I mean considering you been on hormones for 10 years and don't have masculine bone structure.

Agreed with @Angélique LaCava, you're pretty far from needing it!

You're lovely, and I've seen a lot more masculine ciswomen out there. But if you think you ought to, who am I to judge?

Thank you. Yeah, I started hormones when I was 18 or thereabouts. I appreciate your opinions on the matter. I wanted to check in with a group of people who are familiar with FFS and what it is.

IF.....IF you decide to go under the knife you had better make sure they do a really light job. Like a little brow reduction and leave everything south of that alone. Repeat must I. Leave it alone!

I only assume you are not a ciswomen because of the post itself and the overall context. Seeing those pictures amidst other ciswomen or passing trans-women, I'd never be able to tell. I agree with others, no FFS required.

You are certainly free to do whatever you choose but for my opinion absolutely not!

You are beautiful and perfect just the way you are.

Question is do you need it to be happy? I had facial maculinization surgery. Did I need it? That's the tricky question. I passed fine just from the effects of T. My girlfriend thought I looked fine the way I was. The problem for me was the fact that I had people telling me I was pretty for so long that all I could see when I looked in a mirror was that pretty girl I hated so much. So yeah I needed it. The surgeon didn't do anything radical but it was enough so that for the first time in my life I liked the way I looked. If ffs will help you like the way you look and make you feel more comfortable with yourself then go for it.
