Had to pick up a parcel from my old house and saw the missis, that's the one that kicked me out. Well I wore nail varnish and rings when I went to watch the drag racing and looks like a face book posting has been made (so what) Well I got "the kids are upset and what will people think, are you happy now" HELL YES I am not living with you for a start, but didn't say anything to her . Also got " that's 30 years of my life wasted and all I have to show for it is 3 nice kids" Well that's all I have as well and wont swop them for anything even a instant gender change. You cant make an omelette without breaking eggs. Whats she going to be like when I come out fully, no Christmas meal invite then!!!!!

  Yeah well, it does sound like there may be just a small problem on her part with what you are doing for yourself. And oh btw, you are doing it for yourself. She made her decision when she asked you to leave no it is up to her to figure out haw to deal with it. It's not your problem. As for the "upset kids" I wait to hear from them directly. There could be just a teensy tiny bit of prejudice is her telling of it.

  You're doing fine with what you need to do for yourself. Keep it up.

I'm sorry you having a hard time with acceptance.

By the way, keep in mind it may be as difficult for her as it was for yourself. Things are now on the fly, don't take anything said too seriously.

She's just angry and unaccepting, needs to discharge bad emotions. Don't mind arguments based on kids, other people, etc. She has to speak for herself.

Any (mentally healthy) mother in this world loves his kids more than anything, way above her romantical partners. Just downplay any comments like this one. Things may likely become calmer.

Yes that's my take on it and I shall carry on to my end goal. Looks like that will be a long time on the NHS having just read a post on waiting times or go without food to afford HRT

You should probably plan to host Christmas dinner yourself. Invite the kids, others as you desire. If needed you can do it the day before or after, as is common for split or blended families.
