Grr, someone took the username I wanted. Anyway, I'm here to get support since I seem to be questioning my gender and sexuality. I hope I can get something out from here.

Welcome to Susan's Place. If a user name hasn't been used for a long while, we can sometimes free it and give it to somebody else. If you are a regular poster, let us know after you get a few posts under your belt and we will bring it up to the powers to be. You didn't really ask what was on your mind so I am going to throw a few links at you as a starting point. The first is our WIKI where you might be able to find a label that applies to how you feel. The second is "the transition channel" where a gender therapist will go over some points with you that may give you a better understanding of yourself. Feel free to ask any questions you might have and we will do our best to answer them.

Laurie

 Hi Riv3n,

I'm Laurie, welcome to Susan's Place on the web. Come on in and make yourself comfortable. Have a look around and see if there are things we can help you with. You sure didn't give us much to go on except you are questioning your gender, but that doesn't give us much to go on.  Welcome to the club. That's what brings all of us here. That and to help each other.
I questioned my gender myself and after 64 years I discovered I was transgender and took steps to start transitioning to a woman. So I am  MtF and I'm taking HRT under my doctor's  supervision and a getting help from my gender therapist. If you are actively questioning your gender but aren't sure about what you want to do then a gender therapist is a good place to start. They can help you explore these issues.
Well welcome again and I hope you find what you seek here.

Hugs,
   Laurie

Hey Riv3n,

Welcome to Susan's! Hopefully you enjoy your time here and get all the info you need. Questioning your gender can be daunting at first but i think if you go around here and talk to others you will be fine. Also as Laurie said seeing a gender therapist is a good idea to talk face to face about what you are feeling. There are plenty of resources here so i'm sure they will definitely answer some of your questions.

See you around  ;D

Thanks, I'm glad that there's someone that can help me on here about this. I'm sorry I didn't give out much since I thought I'm supposed to leave that to one of the other channels.

We tend to keep stuff neat and tidy by moving posts were they will be found but introductions is a starting place for many people and as such, tends to be open topic. If a request becomes specific in introductions, I will link a person to the part of the site where they will find the answers they need. New members often need information fast and don't alway have the time to find it on a site this complex.
