Since spring is winding down and summer is coming on strong, I have been getting that itch to get back out and ride.  I reached out to one of the local MCs to help support a prostate cancer ride as medical support and they took me up on my offer!  I'm meeting up with the ride organizers tomorrow to iron out the details...  Fingers crossed that it goes well.  I haven't met any of them in person, so we'll see how this goes.  I'm hopeful as it's a huge bonus knowing other motorcyclists for the support network of rides, comradery, and of course PARTS!  Having 2 under construction and 1 always in need of maintenance... The network helps a lot!  Going to be an early morning getting ready to put my best foot forward!

Where I live, summer isn't the riding season. It's too hot, although I will get out on the bike. When I lived in Iowa and Long Island it was the opposite.

Well, the meet and greet went well. No issue with my feminine form, I got a couple double takes, but they were great! I felt comfortable sitting down and chatting them up.. this is how things should always be. Just a great group of people! I had the car so I lost the pack on the recon ride, but that was my fault for not having the bike there. I didn't think that we were going to ride the route yet. My bad... I will be better prepared for the next meet.

And to top off a great day, I got an invite to a BBQ! saw a few old friends and not a single odd look. Quite contrary, I had quite a lot of passing glances at my butt. I must be doing something right... compliments on the curls and the girls were welcomed as they noticed quite a few more pronounced curves that I was questioning. Talks of summer rides and hair care. It was some good fun and relaxing!

Harley, I am so happy for you. It sounds like a lot of fun.
