I have been trying to find someone who can start me on HRT for awhile now, but have had almost no success what so ever. I live in Maryland and have tried contacting the Chase Brexton LGBT center multiple times, ranging from email, multiple phone called, leaving messages like they suggest, even had my regular therapist (who has put a good deal of effort into helping me in this front but has no experience in it otherwise)leave messages and has tired calling. Yet i haven't herd a word from them despite all this. Iv also been looking at smaller private practices with little success. Any advice on where i might be able to go? :(

Have you tried contacting any local endocrinologists?
They're the ones that you really want writing your prescriptions.

Also, try contacting any local gynecologists. One of my best friends has a gyno prescribing her HRT.

I am kind of hoping to find someone who can evaluate me, and possibly talk to while starting HRT. Like i said my current therapist is great but seems to have no experience in this area.

Oh. I thought you were looking to start HRT. It sounds like you really just want an LGBT therapist for now. Just so you know, a therapist can't prescribe HRT. But, I agree you should have someone to talk to while you transition.

I'm not sure where you live in Maryland, but a simple Google search "Maryland LGBT Therapist" produced a lot of results. I'd start calling the ones closest to you and work your way through the list.

Good luck!

Planned Parenthood if in your area might be an option.  They do informed consent HRT...
