It definitely gives an idea as to the size of it, that's a whole lot of ink.

You could also upload it to imgur.com and link it if you want a bigger pic.

Ah ok. I'll have to look into that but for now I uploaded a more recent pic (few months ago that my wife did my make up and we went outside :) )

I would be interested in knowing how to post a pic. But that album cover does make a good tattoo. And that's a nice pic

I had a couple tattoos from my time as a Navy Corpsman.  I got them covered up with forals. :)  I just could not keep on with the man tats on my body; plus, the feminine tattoos are really flattering, IMHO. :)

Ya I am agreeing with most on this thread. Rock the tats and find a great tattoo artist and have them feminized a little. I love tats on women and I really don't think if they were a little more masculine than feminine, it would matter all that much to me.

Here is one of mine:

I think it looks better in person than in that picture, too. lol  My tattoo artist took the pictures and made that collage.

How about now?? Lol

If you need help posting images, just message me and I can host the image for you from my site. I have tons of space and bandwidth, so it would be no problem.

So this discussion happened between my wife and I and got me thinking about it. As I served in the USMC, I had gotten a lot of what I would call "aggressive/manly tattoos to appear masculine which obviously isn't the case :) anyways, she suggested I should look into getting them removed which I feel would be impossible since my entire back is covered and most of both arms so it would be thousands of dollars. I also can not wear long sleeves all summer round! Lol so any thoughts and opinions on being a beautiful transwoman with constant reminders of a past male life permanently on your skin??

I have a similar issue.  I have a very masculine Harley tattoo on one upper arm and a train scene on the other.  Both black and gray, neither feminine in any way.  I also have one that's more neutral on my left chest which I'm waiting to see how it looks after my breasts start to develop and another more neutral one on my back right shoulder.

Ultimately, I'm not planning to remove them, I'm just going to own them for what they are.  None of them represents anything that is less a part of my life after transition.  I've thought about maybe having an artist look at ways to make them more feminine, but ultimately I'm not too worried. They're just another part of who I am.
