has Anyone here ( from Ontario Canada)  been pre approved for srs funding in the last 17 months or so with any other surgeon other than brassard?

I believe Ontario will now pay for surgery outside of the country.  They won't pay for travel and lodging though.

The province recently introduced new regulations that allow Ontario residents to go out of province or out of country for gender reassignment surgery and Danica has started the process to go to Thailand. If approved by OHIP, she could be the first funded patient from this province to go there.

I was just looking at different doctors- not all have used Canadian insurance and some are reluctant to try.
