I look in the mirror to see a face with hideous facial scars , masculine jaw and ugly huge lips. I feel sad that I can't do anything about them.

I wish that I just had a natural pretty feminine face but unfortunately genetics wasn't in my favor.

The way that I look will never be satisfying to anyone. ;(

I've struggled for years to like how I look. During my teenage years I even struggled to look at myself in any reflective surface. There's still parts of my body I wish I could change. I still think I'm fat just because I don't have a flat stomach; which I know logically is an unrealistic ideal and by not having one doesn't mean I'm ugly and unhealthy.

What helps is watching other people when I'm out. Many people don't look 'perfect' or have an ideal body but that doesn't make them ugly. They all have something unique to them.

I know you won't believe me when I say this; but you are not ugly.

I know exactly how you feel. I can't stand seeing myself be it in a mirror or a picture. There is nothing good about me physically. If I could wave a magic wand and change things around, believe me, I wouldn't hesitate. And I have looked into surgery options, but could never realistically hope to have the money it would cost to get everything taken care of. So I'm, in a word, screwed.

Self acceptance is the first and most important thing to do on all of our lists. Whether we are happy about our self or not depends mostly on accepting what we are, for good or not so good.

After we have accepted our self, make a list of the things we would like to change. Then prioritize and make a plan to change those items. Work your plan. That is, just do it. It is your life. You can do what you want with it.

Lastly, don't look back. Always look to the future. Always keep making improvements. And do NOT let anyone else tell you what to think or do. Be yourself.

I'm sorry you're feeling ugly. I feel that way a lot too. I'm albino. Have you looked into different make up techniques?  Scars can be minimized.  Contouring can soften your jaw line. Big ugly lips? No I don't think so. I have really full lips and women are always complementing them. My parents paid a lot of money for me to have filler in my lips. And it hurt like hell. Be happy with your natural full lips. A lot of us pay good money for those. YouTube has like a lot of makeup tutorials for just about any facial flaw. Take a look. Makeup can do wonders.
