I remember meeting Diego and hearing him speak several times at First Event, a conference for the TG community and friends that is held in MA once a year.
  So I was delighted to read in this Sunday's Nashua Telegraph, that Diego, who is currently Public Relations director for the AIDS Action Committee. and also an open FtM, will be "the first transgender person ever named to a committee at the Democratic National Convention in Denver". The source mentioned was the Boston Herald newspaper.
