Well, I finally did it. Yesterday I had breast augmentation surgery at OHSU with Dr. Jens Berli. I have to say I had a great experience and have suffered little pain; what felt the MOST unpleasant was the sore throat from the breathing tube.I first met with Dr. Berli back in March, and we went into detail about what I wanted and what the options and risks were. We decided to try for between 420 and 450cc silicone implants over the muscle. When I woke up I was pleased to find out that he had been able to give me 440ccs, taking me from a deflated A/B to a full D. After a few hours in recovery I was sent home with my husband and other special friend. I was very surprised at how able I was to walk around, eat, etc. So far it's been a piece of cake. I have to wear a special surgical bra for a few weeks and then special support bras with no wire for 3 more months. I had a peep last night with the surgical bra off, and they already look amazing and very natural.

I have very pleased with what Dr. Berli was able to do for me, and the staff at OHSU could not have been nicer or more trans friendly. I would highly recommend Dr. Berli for implant surgery. Now I just have my SRS with Dr. Dugi to look forward to!

Day Three and it's still pretty easy, though I am a bit sore this morning. I was allowed to take a shower last night, which felt great. My breasts are swollen, but they already look amazingly natural and are just the right size. I don't think I would have wanted to go bigger or smaller. Very grateful to Dr. Berli for his work.

Day 5 and I continue to do well. I am VERY pleased with Dr. Berli's work. I went all the way up to a full D cup, and they already look quite natural. There's been little pain and I am healing just fine. I would definitely recommend Dr. Berli.
