Hi, I'm brand new to the forums. I have been wondering if I look feminine enough to pass as a woman. I feel really self-concious about this and, like many trans people, that makes me hide it. But I know that you, a community of like-minded poeple won't judge me (harshly?) lol But really, I want constructive criticism. Oh my name is Jada btw and it is beautiful to be here!

Hi. Im Julia.  Welcome to the forum.  May I ask, have you started HRT yet?  You look like you have kind of a small build which is good. I suggest wearing some padding until your HRT takes effect. Maybe a padded butt and hips. Also don't wear sleeveless stuff right now. You have a little bit of male muscle definition in your upper arms right now. HRT will decrease that. Maybe grow out your hair too. The last thing is to use an orange tone concealer under your foundation to cover your beard stubble. Its kind of clockable in your pictures.  I think you have a lot of potential and I also think you look very good for someone not on HRT or just starting it.

Hugs
Julia.

After you are on HRT longer your face will become more feminine looking and your body will start filling out. You look young. May I ask how old you are? I'm 19.

Jada,

You are so fortunate to be thin and young. You not only pass right now, but in just a few short months you are going to be a knockout of a young lady.

I admire your courage to transition at a young age. I should have done this many years ago.

Yes, you're passable. Maybe not now, but you seem to have a small build and fine features. You can definitely pass with HRT and more experience. In fact, I see a girl on these photos already

Hi!  I think you can definitely get to a passing point 'as is' with modest makeup work.  You've already got most of the fine facial structure and a great thin build, huge advantages in passing.  The eye and brow makeup certainly gives the right cues.

To push presentation solidly over to passing, I'd suggest hairstyles that slightly hide or misdirect the eye on the forehead we almost all share, and a modest use of blush and bronzer to soften facial lines and emphasize the cheeks.

You're doing fine, and you're going to do great!

My personal transition path included medical changes.  The path others take may require no medical intervention, or different care.  We each find our own path. I provide these dates for the curious.

Thanks for the tips. I know my makeup needs work. I've had very little time to practice though lol
I just got new concealer, so I might post a few new pics later today to see what you all think. You guys are awesome :D

.....When I saw the first picture I thought it was a biological female...so there's that!  ::)

I know I'm not MTF so I don't know too much about passing, or everything that you ladies have to go through to pass...But dysphoria to this point has come in waves so I have a little experience on presenting feminine.

I do agree that a wig or continuing to grow your hair will help. If you don't like having long(er) hair (which even when I have presented feminine I cannot stand) just get a more feminine short cut....Asymmetrical bobs, lots of layers, highlights....that kind of girly stuff.

As for padding....I would say avoid going like drag queen extreme, especially considering how slender you are....
They make women's shape wear naturally sized fake butts in them...And "chicken cutlets" could probably work for a natural-ish looking chest padding. (You can even get the ones that stick to your chest if you don't feel like wearing a bra....(Bras really suck.)
If you're feeling really froggy you could invest in a waist trainer or a corset to cinch your waist for a more hour glass figure.

Welcome and happy passing!

No to cinchers and corsets :) that would out you faster than lack of chest development
