GC2 compression vs GC2B

So I know GC2B is a subsidiary of GC2 but is there a difference between the compression shirts and their binders? Are the compression shirts as they sound, just compressing opposed to binding? Related to another thread, are these more comfortable for longer daily use then regular binders?

Has anyone tried the compression shirts?
