Well I'm officially 3 months in. Still on what would be considered low dose E, but full dose Spiro. This has been a good month. Where my initially very low dose had me concerned, bumping it up last month seemed to flip a switch. My breasts are now very sore. Made the mistake last night of hugging my son a little too tight and was shocked by the level of pain. My nipples are constantly firm now and the area behind the areolas is firm and swollen as well. No real growth yet, but exciting to know that progress is underway.
I'm also noticing some decided changes in my face. Fine lines and wrinkles are starting to fade a bit and my features seem to be softening up. Skin is much softer already at this point now too and definitely considerably more fragile. Couple that with the laser treatments which have me at about 50-60% cleared and my face is really starting to look more feminine even in "male mode". I went out last week with just a light foundation and powder plus eyeliner on my lower water line with a low profile baseball cap on (no wig) and the look was decidedly feminine. In fact, when I stopped for dinner, I got ma'am'ed. I can't claim it as male fail, but it was nice to be properly gendered without even really making much effort.
Now the part where some of you are going to hate me. I dropped 22 pounds in total after starting HRT and my jeans are down from a size 7/8 to a size 3/4 (3's fit a little better). I've been eating like crazy lately but still am holding steady at that weight. I was thinking about this and I remember when my sisters were teens (i.e. going through puberty) and they were both skinny as rails but ate like crazy too. So maybe it's just a puberty thing, IDK, but I'm not complaining. The hard part now is keeping myself eating healthy. It's so easy to splurge because I can, but I want to make sure I keep all my blood levels where they need to be.
So here's the latest comparison photos. I know these aren't the best shots for this but I think you'll still be able to notice the differences.
