Hi, Claire!
Welcome to the site.
We'd like to get to know you! Try posting a little bit about yourself in a new topic just for yourself, in our
Introductions forum. Tell us your story, how you came to join our family, life lessons learned, and tell us what makes the world a special place for you.
I know lots of folks out in the Real World who present male much of the time, but feel strongly female. They accommodate to the realities of their life, and seem content to just spend occasional evenings or weekends expressing their femme selves. (I was out with a group of gals like this last night, terrorizing a local Italian restaurant and bar.

I think everyone had a grand time, and the locals now have something new to talk about.

) There are many paths through life, and nobody can really tell us which one is right for ourselves other than ourself.
You will notice that there is a lot of activity and chatter related to transition here on this site. As a supportive place, we naturally get lots of questions and discussions on issues that come up, and much of that is related to the technical nuts and bolts of gender transition. That doesn't mean that transition is what most of the transgender population does, though, so please don't let it put you off.
I hope you feel welcome here.
A Cautionary Note:Please try to remember when posting that
