I hope I didn't offend anyone with my reply on this topic. It's just that so many of the members are in constant concern for their jobs or income to be able to continue in transition and SRS eventually. Also that while I don't know what type of work you do, it could present the issues you are just facing with your 20 year long friend. I did not imply not to wear or hide, I simply meant wear it where it will have no impact on how you are percieved by business associates. Stephanie's statement.I think the key here that it all comes down to wearing them at the right time and in the right place. I think this is the same thing just a different choice of words. If you are distracting them by how you are dressed then can they be concentrating on what you business offers them without mixing business with extra corricular activities? I have found that business assoiates are best kept in the business arena. How serious do you want them to take your point of view? This is where my mind frame is coming from in my repy post. Many men do not draw the line here in business. As a female you must tread carefully for it is up to you to make the guide lines appearent for those participating in business with you. Your jokes, your dress, your body language your choice of word all play a roll in this.
Hope this helps,
Smiles,
