Hi everyone
My chosen name is Kelly. The past few months have been an emotional roller coaster since I decided it was time begin HRT and live the life i was meant to live.  I began HRT on my own and after much reflection, decided I should find an endocrinologist and do it right.

That encounter changed my life forever.  It was the first time I ever spoke the words - I am a woman to another person. I had lived in the shadows with this feeling and was now beginning to share the secret that had bound me for so long.  Since that day I have told my wife, one friend and my pastor.  My wife has shard my revelation with three of her friends, to my surprise, and has agreed to stay with me, much to my surprise.

Next month I begin legit HRT with my endocrinologist and with the freedom to now present at home its time to begin sharing the news with friends and family.  I am looking for advice and support here and hope to be a part of helping others in their journey.

Welcome Kelly!

It sure is quite a thing to actually tell somebody else what's been going on in one's head. I know how I felt when I first uttered those words to my therapist ( who I specifically sought out to talk about this). It was scary to begin with and then after it's been said, I walked about a foot taller

It is definitely highly advisable to take hormones under medical supervision. They are powerful and will have many impacts on your overall health which should be monitored to make sure you can continue taking them safely and in the long term.

This is a great place to feel comfortable among like minded people. Those who are going MtF and those going FtM.
Pity we can't just exchange hormones and discarded body parts

It feels good to know that we are not alone on this extraordinary journey.
