The tragic shooting of 15-year old Lawrence King is being pursued as a pre-meditated hate crime by Ventura County Prosecutors. King was shot in the head while in a classroom at his Oxnard, California junior high school by a fellow 14-year old student. Students report that King identified as gay, often wearing makeup and high heels to school. He was often subject to harassment and bullying, a sign school administrators should have taken more seriously.

How unbelievably sad is this?  Two young lives have been destroyed.  Do you know how hard it is to teach a child to hate enough to kill someone who is different?  His parents should be put up in front of the court as well.
