Hello all

Here to update since the last time I posted and yes a lot has happen both negative and both positive and for the better.

So first the negative I was homeless for nearly a month after things didn't work out living with my friend in Summertown, TN and been couch surfing place to place between Columbia, TN and Nashville basically. Thankfully the trans support group in my area came through and managed to get in contact with this lady who has a transgender son and they had a room with a private bath just for anybody to either rent out simply or need a place. So yeah I now have new long term place to stay and best part is I'm just down the road (less than five minutes) from places I could easily get hired at.

Honestly I never thought I get this lucky I thought me living on the Spring Hill/Thompson Station area was a total pipe dream .

Yaaay!   Congratulations, on finding a long term home and in a region where you wanted to be!

I'm sorry you had such a rough month, but so happy to hear from you and read about your new digs.  Fantastic progress there.

My personal transition path included medical changes.  The path others take may require no medical intervention, or different care.  We each find our own path. I provide these dates for the curious.

Yeah it's definitely been a rough month and I couldn't be more thankful to be where I am right now

A lifetime of depression and repressed emotions is nothing more than existence. I for one want to live now not just exist!

After having gone through so much with you in the past year or so, I have to ask:  Are you still on hormones and how are you doing with your transition?

Hi Carly I am doing fine despite everything that's happened over this past month and thanks to friends I managed to hold it together yes there were some major downs but nevertheless I persisted and would've continue doing so even if I ended up in a shelter. And yes thankfully I am still on hormones thanks again to friends and the affordability that is Planned Parenthood :)

And a pretty nice update on getting employment I finally spoke with a professional about my learning disability and I am learning more than ever that even here in a place like Tennessee I can get help with that regard and from what I hear the Kroger near me helps accommodate and is really good about that plus it has a great reputation for doing so. Once I take care of some other matters I'll be sure to apply there and I know I'll get hired at that one unlike the other I tried applying for multiple times. Oh and it's lgbt friendly so that's a plus :)
