Hello everyone! I've been using this site as a great place for information and hopeful stories during my darkest times for years and only just now decided to register. I've been in the military for 8 years and just last year I was finally able to see a doctor for my gender dysphoria without fear of being kicked out. Yesterday, even while Trump is working hard to take away our rights I finally got my spiro and estrogen. Anyways, just saying "hi" and hope to meet lots of interesting people

  I'm Laurie the self appointed unofficial greeter for the site. Welcome to Susan's  Place as a member. Now you are one of us in more ways than one. Thank you for your service. That person that some call president angered many of of who have performed our patriotic duty to our beloved country. I was one of those and so was Dev as I'm sure you know. Know your service is appreciated by most people in this country if not by that man. I pray for you that are still in the service. I hope sanity will somehow prevail.
   Okay I'll get down off of my soap box. So you are just starting on HRT are you? Well my friend you have several other new users of these fantastic drugs to compare notes with. I call them my "magic pills" because they cause much longed for boobs to grow upon my chest and other wonderful things to happen to me. They unlock a whole new life and world to me. I certainly hope they do the same for you.
  Anyway Laura welcome again to the site as a full member and do continue to share with us the things that happen with your journey, both good and bad. We love to hear the good and may be of help for the bad.

Hello Laura and welcome!

I want to thank you for joining Susan's, and for serving your country for eight years.  I'm glad you have medical guidance and have started HRT.  I just started my MTF HRT prescription four days ago and in my case I've found it to be quite great already. 

I have found it very valuable to be able to read others' experiences, and more important being able to directly ask and interact - it's awesome.  I've also noticed when I tell people about my own experiences I learn new things about myself.

Thank you everyone! I didn't really want to make my introduction about my military service, but with all that's going on in the news just now it's a pretty big part of my transition.
