I finally started (YAY)! Anyways, I have been on many diuretics like furosemide in the past due to edema but have never experienced the weird side effects of this drug. Has anyone else experienced any olfactory weirdness? I feel like I'm smelling pee all the time. Gross.

Also have no motivation to do anything today. But that could just be the effect of getting up at 4am and very little sleep.

Been on spiro at least 25 years. As well as lasix. I don't remember any such symptoms but I do pee all day and night.

My pee had a different quite odd smell while I was on Spiro. It may cause the tiredness you are experiencing. I've been off of Spiro for a year now and the first thing I noticed was the pee smell returning.

It's important to eat enough salt and drink plain water...and also avoid high potassium foods/drinks/supplements. Dehydration can cause tiredness. Low T or just plain low sex hormones (not enough E or T) in the body can reduce motivation. It may be a period of adjustment too as your hormonal environment is changing.
