Dr. Chett is my surgeon and I am staying at the Rama
Post op pain was almost non-existent, so I went off pain meds shortly after surgery

8/11 was my big day, and for this special occasion, I wore a pretty plaid kilt/skirt and cute cami top with my usual emo  makeup style

The nurses cleaned me up and removed the packing, all in the comfort of my hotel room

During my first insertion, my passage into physical women hood, I had this song playing in the background

I am still crying from the joy, the completeness that I feel
"cry sweet tears of joy and touch the sky"

FIY Despite being a well used bottom (with large objects) and having 3 internal hemorrhoids removed, I have 6 inches of depth

Congratulations, 6 inches is a great depth, you are very lucky.

Thanks for the vote of confidence
That was with my first insertion, I did solo last night and easily hit 6.25 to my pelvic floor, with no pain pressure etc.
I am small framed, so the goddesses must have been smiling down on me.

Sadly, it is mothers day weekend here and my little people are back in the states.

You are lucky to be a MCGinn girl! The Papillion Center is a special place located in one of the most Romantic Hamlets in the Tri-State Area. I love Deb, Lori and especially Ramona, who does the electrolysis. Ramona's birthday was the 4th, the same day I physically passed into women hood.

Congratulations, glad it is going so well  for you. I would agree with you that the folks at Papillon are fantastic. I never met Ramona myself. I am 6 weeks out now, but I had I great time in New Hope, even if most of that time was laying on my back in the recovery house. Anyway, enjoy the new toy.

Oh man!  You gals sure are lucky!  I can only dream what it would be like to have that done.  How in the world do you all have that kind of money!?  Insurance does not cover that stuff because it is "elective" and "not needed to live".  I can barely afford the hormone therapy.  Oh well, I can only dream on...

My insurance paid for it. I have Aetna PPO.  I know some don't unfortunately. I  am very aware I am a lucky girl. My heart goes out to you if it is not available, I know what it is like not to think it can happen.

It's covered in Canada under our health care system.
I'm a 65 year old male who has been thinking about SRS for many years.  I also was a  full cross dresser for a few years.  I wear a bra, pantyhose and nail polish daily because it just feels right.

Started HRT April 17, 2019.

Insurance also covers it in Oregon. State Law requires.

I think it is cheaper for insurance to cover it, then it is for the insurance companies to pay for lawsuits.

FFS is rarely covered, srs and BA seem to be routinely covered

So I think the key to this is! learning to navigate your insurance company and how to dig deep.
Maybe your local LGBT center can help
