Douching question (lube from dialations not coming out)

Hi, I'm about 7 weeks post op, I've been dialating and douching as per the instructions i was given by my surgeon. I'm not totally sure if I'm douching right though. There seems to be a lot of lube left in my vagina, and it leaks out while I'm walking around and while I'm sleeping. Am I not getting deep enough? Would a better quality or higher volume douche work better?

Can you wear maxi pads or say tampons ?

Use your kegels to make sure you get all of the douche fluid out. I noticed this was the problem when I first started. May be worth a try.

I can and have been searing pads. My concern is more that in 5 weeks I'm allowed to start having sex with my boyfriend again. I keep having this terrible vision of me sitting on his face while hes enthusiasticlly goijg down on me and all the sudden he's got a mouth full of ky jelly. We havnt been dating that long, im pretty sure that would be the end of it. I'll definitely try the keegals and see how that works.

I am at the same post op period. I don't have much leakng out. I know every doctor is different. Mine told me not to douche. What brand of lube do you use?

My dr. Has us douching twice a day with saline water for the 1st 2 months and after that once daily with tap water . I'm using the shoppers drug mart (Canadian equivalent of Walgreens?) No name brand equivalent of my jelly, when they're out of that, I splurge on an actual bottle of ky. I'm thinking about going back to the medical grade stuff they were giving us at the recovery center. It's cheaper but is have to order it online.

I use Surgilube. I order it on line. Don't know if that will make a difference for your issue. It works well in my case.
