Ive been lucky to have experienced very little conflict except for some depression once in awhile.

I had to select "other". When I started my transition, I had about the same amount of conflict with others as I had pre-transition. Now that I have grown older and more mature, there are few conflicts to speak of, if any.

I have experienced no conflict at all over my transition.  A little bit of internal conflict about whether I was ready to do this, but that's all.  I have been very lucky.

I Am Jess

I have been remarkably lucky in my transition in that I have had almost no conflicts. There have been almost no issues at work, my children are accepting (as are most of my other relatives) and I haven't really lost any friends (in fact I have many more).  The only negative has been the lack of acceptance by an uncle and my step-mom.  I'm very thankful that my transition has gone so well.

Hi Stephanie!

If you're asking about "internal conflicts", then so far no, no conflicts. More a resolution of big conflicts with a sense of closure. [emoji57]

If your question is about conflicts with others... Well... No real conflicts per se, but my sister doesn't speak to me anymore (we barely spoke before, so it's not really a big change) and my mom started displaying a passive-aggressive silence which doesn't bother me much anymore, but when I think about it I find it saddening, but then I shrug my shoulders and think: "C'est la vie..." [emoji28] Besides, reactions from wife, kids, friends and co-workers have been nothing but extremely understanding and supportive, so I feel that the sum of reactions is largely positive.

Hugs, Sarah
