Thank you Amandam, that's sweet of you to make me smile.  Yes I'm sure it's my hormones, but been crying like a girl and it actually makes me feel better to know it's ok to cry like that.
Hugs, Jessica 🙆

For me it's those commercials for the ASPCA. Seeing those starved and abused animals makes me cry. Anyone I'm watching TV with who knows me always flips channels when those commercials come on.

I'm pre HRT and wanted to ball my eyes out today but couldn't release one tear. Just made my amazing day full of dysphoria and anxiety even better. I've been working on letting out real emotions lately since I bottled everything up as a man. But wasn't happening today.

Julia, everyone flips the channel when those commercials come on. You don't have a heart if you can make it through those without feeling anything.

Oh my god that one made me cry a bit before the hormones when I was trying not to.  I'd probably need at least a small box of Kleenex if I watched it again.

Actually I am loving my transition to a woman.  I haven't felt more alive while on hrt.  I just cry a lot now.

I think I cried so much today because my most potent dysphoria snuck up on me.  I feel devastated that I can never give birth to the baby that I would hold to my breasts.
Sigh, Jessica

uhhh I started crying over clouds today lol. I had a rough week at work, and earlier today I was thinking about how I wasn't feeling feminine at all this week. then I went to get some frozen yogurt with a girlfriend of mine tonight and on our way back to our cars we were talking and mid sentence I stopped and pointed out a pretty cloud and then started looking around and saw more pretty clouds and I started tearing up a little and she started making fun of me and then I started to laugh at myself which only made the tears worse! and I've only been on a low dose for a month now! yikes!

But doesn't I feel good to cry!  Even being very happy makes me cry.  We are at the same point in our hrt transition Maddie!

For me yesterday morning it was watching a Tina Fey bit from SNL about the orange headed wonder's new descent into moral relativism. As Fey did a near faceplant into a sheet cake, gorging on cake and icing as a means to distract from the horror of new revelations, I first wept in the hilarity. As suddenly i sobbed uncontrollably thinking of the horrid impact on innocent people everywhere of this evil man aligning himself with hatred and giving comfort to people who would see the likes of you and me persecuted in the name of normalcy.

My poor girlfriend didn't know what to make of my sudden uncontrolled tears and her attempts to help only made it worse.

The last time this happened it was far more innocuous, a year and a half ago, just 2 weeks into HRT I was watching an old Eddie Murphy skit that was rather charged with sexist humor I found myself first laughing uncontrollably and soon crying even harder at some of the cruel implications of the humor.

Yes I'm far more prone to tears since HRT.

On this HRT bout, I haven't been more prone yet.  On my last herbal one though, workplace bullying made me cry,  it snuck up on me.  I wasn't expecting it, didn't know how to cope.  The bullying stopped immediately, but then I was the sensitive one.  I ended up getting laid off from that job when times get tough.  My bully was fired though beforehand, karma.
