I'm MTF , 27 and finally planing to have my ffs in about 6 months .
I'm not rich or anything like that , working hard to save money for that .
So yes I'm looking for a cheap ffs however good one , not going just for prices of course I want to know the quality of the surgeon .

So I have been checking Transop in Mexico with Dr Lazaro and Femilife in Peru . Both have good results and good prices .

However few days ago I saw on online an impressive transformation in a trans women , she had ffs in Mumbai - India with Doctor Parang Telang .
I emailed him with my photos and asking for a quote and i got shocked with the prices .
Very cheap comparing with transop and femilfe .
However I got shocked not just with the prices , but also with the amazing transformation he did in the trans woman face .


So I would like to ask if anyone know more about him or has anyone done ffs in India ?
I'm searching online as much as I can but it would be nice hear more experience .

Hey i got my ffs and gcs done in Delhi, was originally going with telang but he couldnt show me pics of his work on GCS but i know he can do ffs fairly good at least i have seen one pic of his patient post gcs. Not sure if he has many others but i liked the results i saw and yeah his prices are good. I got my work done by dr kaushik in Delhi and he does equally good work however charges a bit more.

Just consider the hygiene of India in general. They go to the bathroom in the street and their water can be very dangerous because of it.
I lived there for 3 months and the government has a program now where they are literally teaching grown adults how to wash their hands. Just please consider that while the dr may be great and the price cheap, what are the other risks for having surgery in a third world country?

In my search for FFS I also contacted dr. Telang.
It took a while to get a response and after sending him pictures fir reference I didn't hear back.

I would however still like to know a general price for procedures.
How much approximately for what work were you quoted ?

I have so far one major issue with Telang and that is that there are few women who have publicly reported their experiences or show pictures. I saw a few pictures, basically all of the same trans woman who went there (Jules) and also now has a company organizing trips to Mumbai for the surgery. Sadly the pictures I see from the surgeries with Telang and also the pictures shown by Dr Kaushik do not meet my standards of comparability. Like they show a pre OP picture with make haircut, maybe before HRT or going fulltime, or pictures of a dark skinned person - and post op they show the person in a different light, appearing lighter, done up more femme, with different hair and maybe even makeup. I find it hard to judge the quality of the FFS if the pictures are not taken in a relatively comparable setting to really see the effects of the FFS only and not the glammer around.

That said, I think there will be more stories about Mumbai soon, since I am sure many will be drawn there by the prices which are less than 1/3 of the costs charged in the US or Europe. So hopefully soon, more information and photos will pop up about this, once some people dared to go there despite a bit of a lack of information.

I would not worry about hygiene though - its like Thailand (and I even saw this to a lesser degree in Korea). One street is ugly and the people piss on the street or throw their garbage out and wires are running criscross over the street and one or two streets further there are high tech buildings with shiny lights and clean pavements. Those developing countries can be quite diverse and strongly segmented - just stay in the right streets and city quarters where the rich people live. And as a westerner in India or Thailand, you automatically are one of the rich or upper middle class people, even if you are not that rich here.

Exactly my problem with him. For other surgeons there are dozens of girls sharing pos tOP photos , often months or 1-2 years post OP - for him so far there is one that is almost a year post OP and a few that are a couple of weeks post OP so it is really hard to say. For unknown reasons there are also no photos of local (indian) women who had FFS with him, so we cannot really see how many FFs he has done successfully so far. Other surgeons have a few 100 FFS surgeries done, I do not know how many he has done that qualify as FFS (essentially not nose jobs, surgeries for other facial deformities, face lifts etc, but really forehead, jaw, chin change for facial feminization for trans women).
Since a lot of women now are going there because of the low cost, I woould expect that in a year or so there will be a lot more reports and photos online, but also once that happens, I am fairly sure the prices will go up a bit as well.

I saw his results for trans woman on RealSelf he done so many surgeries on her for only 7000 $ which shock me lol
I loved his jaw / chin also the forehead is fine I did not like the nose at all it did not look symmetry
And my problem with the forehead he left the usual scar that usually happen after forehead surgery unlike other dr who hide it with hair transplant
His result changed the woman dramatically unlike the doctor I chose dr kaushik who is in India too specially the jaw and chin the differences were dramatic

Dr telang never answer my email for my questions about his ffs
And I found it hard to reach him

Yes it is a lot pf procedures, I think now it is already a bit up in price in comparison to that time, the woman who went there for the first now is organizing trips for others, apparently. So I am not sure if one can contact Telang directly or if it all works now through her as his associate/organizer? I agree on the assesment on the result. I liked some of it, some things I did not like so much, same with what little was so far seen from other patients. But its hard to say since none of his FFS patients so far is a year post op yet and I am told it takes that long to really heal up.

So far all that I can find in terms of results are the one of the woman who organizes herself (its on Realself and she appreas in the videos of course) and there are a few videos that have patients in them who went there, but are still bandaged or at least not really fully healed (maybe 2 months post OP or so).
To make a proper assessment of the results, one would have to see before and after shots that are somewhat comparable in lighting, angle, camera, hairstyle, makeup... and be at least half a year post OP

It's my understanding that Dr Telang works or contracts work through Jane Watson.  I guess it's similar to Facial Team, as Facial Team is the team of brand and the surgeons (who's names are rarely mentioned) work for Facial Team. 

I belong to the Facebook FFS group, a lot of the patients are in that group and post photos and talk about their experiences.

Its different from Facialteam I think in that there the team is a larger number of people who seem to form sort of a company with employees and contractors. With Telang and Jane Watson/Priyamed it is not so many people and it is more of a loose partnership, I think? As I understand it, basically Priyamed is a one-woman-company that markets the surgery with Dr Telang and organizes the trips and accomodation and some post OP activity and care - maybe more like Jenny did with Jennys Nest at Facialteam?

In any case, sadly even in the facebook group of Priyamed and the other FFS facebook group where they post a lot, there are very few fully healed post OP pictures yet. I think the patients started to go there this summer, so they are still in the process of fully healing - I saw a lot of pictures posted with bandages or neck straps still in place, and sadly also not really many that are compareable post and pre OP with somewhat similar situation. It will take some more months for this to get done, I suppose.

At this point the main attraction of going there is that there is a surgeon who can do FFS - as proven by Jane Watsons result - and who charges a third of the money that others do. Little is yet known about consistency or what aesthetics he has or how many FFS surgeries he actually did so far - but my impression is that the company is going to pick up speed - a lot of patients already go there for the financial reason mainly and so soon there will be more information. My guess is, once this is more established, the price will go up but still be much less than in the West

I have checked out Dr telang my first response  wasdirectly from him., I've sent my photos off and am waiting a reply
I checked some of the bolly wood stars who have had his surgery  and they have publicly  praised him
Also the there is the Olmec institution  in Mumbai  I got a very concise  reply to my questions  along with an invitation  to send pictures  for further evaluation I think India is a good place good place for ffs Indian  are.quite good looking and are. Caucasian and thus their concept  of beauty  is more or less the same as ours
As for hygiene I think it would be second to none

Olmec seems to at least have some before and after photos of trans FFS patients. Telang has none yet. I think they probably both are good surgeons generally, but how would one know - if they did plastic surgery on movie stars, they may be quite good, as those would not want to go to someone not skilled. But of course getting a nose or lip or facelift or teeth done is different from FFS in some ways. FFS is quite a specialized set of procedures that very few cis women would ever get done. I would love to know more about these surgeons experiences with this special set of surgeries and wish there would be more before and after photos that are realistic.

For now only case of post op ffs is Jene
I like some of what he did on her and some not that much

I'm considering him but If he increase his prices he must give more value for his service
I notice he does the surgeries in his clinic by the help of his wife
And one last thing both dr telang and Jane waston / priyamed should provide valid emails where patients can connect them with

Information is very scarce indeed - only facebook contact, the website lacks a lot of information so far.
I saw that interview and I found it a bit odd how Telang spoke of something like rib removal as if it was a lipotransfer. "If you want, we can do that, no problem" or something like that? Either he is really a great surgeon who can do all plastic surgeies possible with good confidence and skill - or he thinks of himself tobe like that - In the interview it sounded a bit like basically you go to him with any surgery you want to get done and he will do it for you no problem.
Jane said she was still swollen in the video - good to know since I thought she looks less good compared to her photos she probably took some weeks or months later.
Telang seems to be very "aggressive" - removes a lot of features and then does a lifting to fit the skin to the much lessened bone.

I saw some pictures of I think about 2 or 3 patients that Jane showed around. I think of those, Jane was the most impressive result, the others may however still need more healing, who knows.
