So I am back home after a nice time visiting my mom. My dad and step mom are forcing me on birth control and anyways I am forced to take it tonight after dinner. The pill is called Tri-Lo-Estarylla. I've read some pretty bad reviews about it. This is for my irregular periods and I think I shouldn't have to be forced on it as I am a teen and as a teen your body is still developing. I just don't want to be anymore feminine..I hate how feminine I look now
I am so sad about this.  :'( I never even wanted to be put on this. I really hope this doesn't stunt my growth with the estrogen and progestin. I have terrible height insecurities. What should I do? How can I cope? Will it stunt my growth? Do you think it will make me more feminine? I am so sad, what a great way to start the school year off. At school it is already bad enough and I am missing my mom and her boyfriend.

All I can think of is explain to your parents that you are no longer responsible for any personality changes that might happened when you are on the pill. There are MTFs on the site who were given testosterone in an attempt to cure them and it caused depression and caused them to go mentally down hill as the result. One was a well behaved A student and the testosterone caused the grades to drop and misbehavior. I wouldn't be so worried about the progesterone but the estrogen in that pill is kind of nasty and MTFs don't even use it to transition any longer.

Thank you so much. That sounds very awful... I feel so bad for them.

Most hormonal birth control is available only by a doctor's prescription.  The drugs have been on the market for a long time, so they are routinely prescribed by Family-practice, OB-Gyn, and Internal Medicine practitioners (don't need an endocrinologist for this!).  But still, they are regulated as prescription drugs.

Was the drug prescribed for you by a doctor?  Ask your folks to make a new appointment, then tell the doctor what's going on.  Even if the doc is not sophisticated about trans issues, I'm sure most doctors would recognize what you're saying as a contraindication (that's what docs call a circumstance or condition that makes use of a particular drug inadvisable for a certain patient) for use of this drug.

It sounds like your father and step mom aren't aware of your feelings.  Or if they are aware, they're just trying to override what you want.  This is a really tough situation for you.  You are being medicated against your will with a drug you feel is harmful to you.  Talk to your doc about this.

Here's another possibility.  Lots of school districts have a school nurse.  Ask to meet with the nurse and level with her or him.  That's what a school nurse is for - to recognize and deal with health issues students have that can affect their education and well-being.

Thank you so much I will take that into consideration. Also it was prescribed to me and my step mom lied and told them I stopped wanting to be a boy.

If you look at Peter's posting history, he has a relatively high testosterone level and should receive a full gender evaluation. Unfortunately there are adults who have the outdated notion that if they shove enough estrogen in Peter, they will get a nice little girl back. Attempts to get it prescribed directly see to have failed so now they are taking the birth control approach. I  am not that familiar with birth control options, but I  suspect they went with the highest estrogen content even though there are more risks associated with them than the low estrogen pills.

At the moment, it seems that Peter's only option may be to wait until he is 18 and then say enough.
