Hi, I'm new hear.. I am a M to F PO Trans girl, lately I've been getting clocked like crazy. Its really depressing me.. Usually i pass quite well. About 85 % of the time. The other day at the nudist camp.. I'm a naturist lol.. This one woman who was cooking, asked me if I brought any food for the cookout. I responded in a decent female voice"  No I'm trying to loose some weight. Keep in mind eveyone was nude. She replied in a nice and friendly voice "Oh your a smart GUY. Ouch that caught my attention. I froze. I was ready to ask what she meant  by Guy. But there were others around. Dont think I misheard. I said well maybe she calls guys and girls guy. Guy singular = Male, dude, man etc. Then this guy was coming on to me.. And asked me why did I get breath augmentation. My how nosey. Well I wanted bigger boons was my reply, and he asked why would you want to do that.. He later came over and said.. I hope I'm not being rude.. Here is my phone number id like to have sex. What a friggiin pervert. I was decently expecting him to say.. Oh by the way I know your trans.. I was relieved. So I went home feeling very upset. Just today at the supermarket where I've had strange incidences in the past.. But this by far was the worse. I was ready to check out and the cashier who was a young woman in her late teens.. And her bagging partner who was also a young woman.. Started looking at each other and holding back smirks, looking back at me. And they weren't even trying to hide it.. As if they were laughing in my face.. I couldnt take it.. So in a rather stern but feminine way I said " what do you find so amuzing ".. Still laughing there heads down and glancing at each other.. Still silent I see. Than I said " Well I am not a guy if that's what you two are thinking. She then went over to the other girl bagging " they wisperd something.. All I could hear was She thinks.. OK at least they called me she. So then she came back smirks gone.. Serious look.. I got their attention.. Oh we never said you were a guy... She replied. Yeah right I said to myself. I did not speak to them, nor did they speak or glance at eachother. The cashiers last words were thank you, have a nice day.. I said nothing. But the blood rush to the head continued.
I havent had this much trouble passing in quite some time. I am going to re visit my therapist perhaps she needs to increase my estradoil. Maybe others are seeing things I dont..All my friends even gg ones said I pass exceedingly well. [/img][/img][/img] Help Help! I am in dire straights.. Perhaps someone has put a hex on me... Never been getting clocked like this...

Welcome to the site. So sorry you had those rough experiences. I don't really know what I can say but that it sucks. I hope your days get better. I don't think it is always about hormones. Sometimes something of the past is still hanging on.  I will let others with more experience respond.

Hi. I'm sorry that's happening to you. The only advice I can offer is, unless someone comes right out and calls you a man, never say "I'm not a guy if that's what your thinking" because if they didn't clock you they totally will if you say that. I hope things get better for you.

For starters....what Julia said times 10.. Without your pic, I have no idea if you pass. But it doesn't matter since anyone who would deny you the respect you deserve isn't worth worrying about. In a perfect world, you hold your head high and remind them in some subtle way how their internal ugliness fits their physical manifestation,  so congrats,  they're mean little douchebags.
Here's reality, you have to own your womanhood.....all of it. But once you do , the clock stops ticking.
    OTOH,  I definitely know and feel your pain.....there's simply no easy way to be free, but it is at hand.

The one who called you a guy I would have said "excuse me?" And totally called her out. Your PO. So that's totally uncalled for. But Julia is right. Never offer any info like that. Best thing to do is ignore stuff like that, unless you clearly hear them say something. Then I would not confront them. I would ask for a manager.

In the event I were to hear anyone making such a comment, The appropriate response is "excuse me?". If they say nothing, talk to the manager.
I find being all nice and cordial greatly reduces the chance someone will clock you. If I am in a bad mood, I just stay home.

Really, there's no way for us to know if you're passing or not.  I've just gotta say: if you've been to a nudist camp, you've got a lot more confidence in your presentation than most of us!

My #1 Trans Irony.  Oh yes, I do have more... plenty more. Probably why I stay away from situations where my dangly bits are out there for all the world to see and expect them to think of me as a woman

So sorry to hear that.

Once I clocked an "obvious" mtf woman. I don't stare at any people but she noticed I noticed. It was just for less than a second when I was pondering as something just caught my eye. I tried so hard , pretending nothing happened. I made her so uncomfortable. She left almost like fled the situation. I being closeted had no ill intentions. It was years ago and I still remember this. I still feel so bad for causing this even if it really was not my fault

No doubt there are mean people around but if you get clocked it does not mean people are automatically mean even if they seem so. Teens are still immature as well. Those people were probably mean but not everyone is there out to get you.

My advice if you have a good female voice than just say excuse me , is there a problem or maybe say nothing.

I'm pretty sure Laura's status as PO was post op. So, while I agree it takes a lot of confidence, for me it would just be to go to a nudist beach no matter what spot in transition or post transition I was in.
