Hey,
Since I am nearing three years full time and am basically done with transition I wanted to say......

Bra's.. I remember a post someone saying do you like wearing a bra???
I remember that I could not wait until I needed one.. OMG I loved it so much.. Made me feel girly and it was something I always envied about girls...

So here is the good news.. that goes away and you don't really care at all anymore.. or at least I don't.

And here is the bad news.. bra's suck.... LOL..

Just like CIS women mine is off the minute I think about it when I hit the door and during the day at home I rarely wear one.

In fact I leave the house without a bra many times by forgetting and I am a DD..

So good news is I am cured bad news is I hate bra's now.

I am sure that FTM folks out there will agree...

Life is funny, we get what we want and then life becomes normal as a woman.

I see men as lucky to be men.. but for me the hassle of being a woman is worth it because I am a girl period and would never want to be something I am not.

Love ya all

Bras for me are kind of a love/hate thing.  My boobs hurt, always have... and it gets worse without a bra.  No I don't have cancer, its just a phenomenon that has been with me since like 18 years old or so (I'm 43 now).

That being said I wear bras until the bras get to be a super annoyance... then don't wear until the boobs hurt too much, then back to wearing them again while I'm at home.  Out, I always wear a bra.  I'm 36c, so its surely not gravity alone.

I'm just weird, but that is what makes me special   ::)  >:-)

I bet the reason they suck is because most people don't get fitted for one. It's probably even more critical for a trans woman because of the broader beam in many of us, but even my wife doesn't get ones that fit right. It's like the women that wear pencil skirts a size or two too small. What's up with that? Or the guy that buys jeans too small with their belly hanging over their belt and a cracker ass showing. A lot denial going on. Just get something that fits right.

I've been wearing a bra daily coming up on 2 years.  I don't normally find them uncomfortable, except on hot, sticky days.
I'm a 65 year old male who has been thinking about SRS for many years.  I also was a  full cross dresser for a few years.  I wear a bra, pantyhose and nail polish daily because it just feels right.

Oh I could not wait. But now they suck. And I have had someone check to see if the sizing was correct. So just because I have the right size means nothing at all. Not wearing one now. But might go to a meeting tonight so I will have to wear one. I don't go fancy but they are not plain either.

I used to find bras and women's underwear erotic.  Now, it's just underwear.

I am pretty skeptical of bra sizing.  What's the point of getting measured when there is so much variability in size?  I was measured at a 38A.  But I have tried on 38AAs that were not just big but way too big.  And I found a 38C at a discount store that almost fit with only a tiny bit of empty space.  The numbers mean nothing.  You just have to find one that looks about right and try it on.

As the old joke goes. Men sweat. Women don't sweat, they perspire.  ;D

Normal female thought progression.  We're just a little late.

Reading this makes me chuckle.  I understand wanting to be bigger, as proportions are better.  Personally I'd rather decrease as much bulk of my frame to make my itty bitties look normal.  Then no bra is fine by ms:)

Hahaha yup. I recall the very day I baught my first bra (wearing it now infact). Sunday April 10 2016, I went to La Vie en Rose located at Kildonan Place mall in Winnipeg Manitoba. It was without question a day I will never ever forget. magical for more reasons then just the bra.

I am probably different from other ladies here, I have now issue with the bra. Infact I love wearing it, maybe one day it may get annoying or what not but still it added that nice everything is how it should be feel. Also, my girls continue to grow as does my smile. Now, hopefully I can finally get my bottom surgery for next September!!!

I Am Jess

I usually have no problem with them.  I am partial to the Victoria's Secret front closing bras that help enhance my cleavage.  I really don't even have to wear one if I don't want to.  Even though I am a 38C/D they don't have a lot of bounce to them so that they have to be restrained.  Really the only time I need one is if my clothes are too thin and my nipples show.  When I do wear them they are comfortable enough that I usually wear them until I go to bed.

If the bra is uncomfortable, it's not the right size. When it's too hot, I wear one with no padding at all. If they get all sweaty, they can be washed. I just don't sleep in one, since I don't have to worry about my breasts bouncing around in my sleep.

I started with sports bras and continue wearing that type. The "comfort fit" ones are not even noticeable wearing during the day. I was working outdoors as much as driving so I got both the sweaty heat and the bouncing in the air conditioning. Worst part I had was needed a tee shirt under my work shirt to hide the bra and my breasts.

You gals are all so silly!  I actually just got my first bra yesterday... No, I haven't even started HRT yet, but I bought some breast forms and a specialty bra that allows you to place them into little pockets that it has.  I wore it like this for a few minutes yesterday in private (my wife STILL doesn't know...) and it was the best feeling ever. I love the way the bra feels when I wear it.  Talk about gender Euphoria!  I had a feeling that one day it wouldn't be that special any more, but I'm happy that at least for now, it is.

Yeah, tourism and living somewhere permanently is two totally different things... Report back after wearing your forms for a few days non stop and don't say I haven't predicted that you'll have some back pain.

Exactly!  Bra's stopped being magical for me the day after my BA and I realized that I'd be wearing them for the rest of my life.

I rarely wear them around the house now.  I wear them going out so I don't bounce and wear padded or lined so my "high beams" don't poke out.  They are just my underwear now.

One the nose. I am wearing my 38C right now. Most are 38B. Just received a 38B in the mail. It's a Hanes. And it's a tiny bit tight. Most of mine are Hanes. Comfort and cute colors. Can't beat that. Just ordered a 40B. So still looking for the right exact fit. And I also have 38A's that don't fit and are too big in the cup. Had to have my doctor. Take a peak and give me some advice on size. So numbers do mean nothing. It's trial and error. If you go to Victoria Secret and get measured. The size you get from them will fit their bras. Trying to take that size and buy a different brand just does not work. Also it is just underwear now. Never should have thought I would feel this way if you would have asked me a year and a half ago.
