Many moons ago I did look at the spell checker that comes with the software that we run the place on. Of course Australians or rather all non-USA-ians, looking at Spellcheckers running on USA Software just end up laughing and thinking 'How; just how is it possible that such a great and awesome country can't spell?' and then give up and use the Australian Macquarie Dictionary as do all civilised people [emoji23]

I'd try that but do Australians even speak English? will I be able to read the words?

Laurie
The Queens very own English is the default down here in Australia, yes. However, there are word manglers, the lazy, and the barely literate to be found here in abundance also. Then there are the peculiarly Australian words that tend to be used in what really seems to be a geographically dependant context. Being half English, I feel almost compelled to do my best to uphold the proud heritage of my ancestral language, though it must also be stated that large portions of said heritage are nothing to be proud of whatsoever.
