I'm not not a vocalist by any stretch of the imagination (I'm happy I can sing in tune!), but I DO like to sing along with songs in the car and whatnot.
After 9 months on T, my voice was alto, but its changing into a baritone. Because its still changing, there are certain notes I can no longer hit in my register (I'm repeating what my musically-inclined partner is telling me to say, I have no idea what all of this means. [emoji37]) He also says that "once I get used to hitting them in my new range, I'll be able to sing them again."
From what I've read, it takes on average, 2 to 3 years for your voice to get to its permenant range and smooth out.
Hope this helps!
