Oops! I'm an hour west of Toronto, just outside of the Waterloo area.
I was born and lived in Montreal for 18 years, then in 79 I moved here.

I lived on the south shore in a place called Greenfield Park, Before that I lived in Pierrefonds.

Looking for Canucks, eh?? Well, hello from tiny lil' ol' NB. Unfortunately as you know my help on available services will be limited since we have no TG services here, except those willing to try and adjust our attitudes for free when we go out somewhere!!LOL. But all in all it sure is great to hear from other Canucks on here.

Question from a ignorant Southerner;  I was told that Canuck was an insult and don't call Canadians that.  Something about trailer-trash French Canadians?  Anyway, do you use it among yourselves but beat snot of Americans if we do?

I'm from Canada too. Lived 17 years in Montreal and 6 years in Repentigny. I live in Terrebonne now (and have for 2 years and a half).

For those who can't place Terrebonne on a map (and I don't fault you, if you're not from Montreal or around), it's north-east from Laval, Laval is directly north from Montreal. The distance between Montreal and Terrebonne can be covered in 20 minutes or so outside rush hour.

Nope you can call us Canucks - just don't call us late for supper :)  It's quite common for us to use it our selves.  Our olympic ski team was once referred to as the crazy canucks.

Seems many Ts here are or where from Montreal.

But, I'm the only one living in the city proper, not the suburbs!
I HATE suburbs!!!!

LOL, never heard of that, Canuck is quite acceptable so dont worry about that :). And the french trailer trash wouldn't even understand what the word means so no worries there either.

I've actually wondered about the term "Yankee" in a similar fashion, is it positive?, negative?

And salut Schala from a fellow North Shore'er (?), im over in St Eustache now :D

I was just thinking, since there are a few Montrealers here, does anyone attend any T* groups in the area?. Personally I'm a member of ASTT(e)Q which has weekly meetings downtown, part of Cactus Montreal, heck, I may already know one of you :P

Been there twice in downtown to ASTTEQ. I've been to the ATQ about 4 or 5 times, near Ste Catherine and Viau. It's been a while though.

I am an American citizen and as such i have the authority to say that "Yank" is a perfectly acceptable word to use.

Pssssssst, you wanna know something? Dennis is right, some type of flowers sprouting in some places and there are about five different types of plants that keep their green leaves all winter and it's been 50 - 55F and sunny for the last week.

I'm in Calgary, Alberta. *shurgs* Don't ask me why no one from Alberta is in here, considering trans people are all over this city and province... combined with the amount of trans people moving to this province. The GID program is actually over burdened now (thus, my surgery has been bumped, once again, to who-knows-when).
