Just curious for the ladies who have been post op longer than I have....in 1 more month I should be getting cleared to have sex by my doctor (Jess Ting MD in NYC) and my vagina is very tight....I dilate 3 times a day with all 4 dilators and my vaginal muscles don't seem to be loosening up.....the dilators do go in 2nd to the last dot,....but it takes slight force....slowly it does go in .....I want to know if you ladies who are post op, how long did it take for your vagina to "loosen" or stretched to take the dilator or penis with no trouble

I've heard some take muscle relaxers to help.  I never really had any issues, but maybe that might be option.. or relaxation / meditation before dilating.

If you're up to orange already then I think it's just a matter of time. It's good to have strong kegels but you also want to be able to relax them and that will come with time.

I find some dilations are easier than others and usually the tightness is in the skin but it always yields easily. At 4 months sex can still be a little uncomfortable which makes sense, formation of new tissue, healing of scars takes a year to full completion so patience is your friend. I'm enjoying sex play but if I get too vigorous there will usually be a little bleeding.
