Yup [emoji16].
Going on your subject title...
There aren't generally alot, and they vary. Typically though:

-blockers only for juveniles
-patches not oral E may hold slightly low health risks in the over 40s MTF.

I think the current protocol of puberty blockers at the onset of puberty with hormonal reassignment treatment at 16 is reasonable. In Australia, this stage requires a court order from the Family Court. Yes, this is BS, but even the judges don't want it - the government needs to legislate.

However, given how the age at which puberty starts is dropping, this protocol may need some adjustment. But that's a matter for the medical profession.

If someone has been given a diagnosis of transgender they should be allowed to start hrt at age 12-13. The age when puberty starts for most people. Blockers only stop puberty. Imagine how you would feel if the other girls at school and your female friends started developing while you aren't.  That would suck!
