I'm so excited that I had to share this.  I have never left the house dressed as Erika.  That's changing.  As i write this, I am sitting in the back of an Uber en femme, on my way to therapy.  Yay!!!

And a double joy... I am also getting motivational texts from my wife at the same time, telling me that I can do it. 

I feel like I am doing it.  And it may be a small step, but I am doing it.  As others have indicated in their first outings, the world has actually not ended.  (Knock on wood!)

Your wife is right, you can go there as your true self.  In fact you already have.  Every great moment in our lives is suddenly history.  Difficult things become platforms we stand on, and then becomes natural.
