Is it normal for one side of your chest to be bigger than the other? My left side is obviously has my swelling or fluid or tissue than my right side. Which is weird to me. It's not that noticeable to other people but when I look down it's very obvious to me. I noticed it during my reveal and my surgeon tried to push all the fluid out on the left side but there wasn't any left.

I'm wondering if my compression binder had my pressure on the right side making it flatter than the left. But I always noticed when I did bind my left side was harder to bind than my right side.

Apologies for reviving an old threat, but I'm currently three weeks post op and have this issue too. One side is almost twice the size of the other. My surgeon said he'll drain it when I go back and see him next, but I'm just wondering if yours settled on its own? Thanks!

Just had my surgery done yday. And I think it's pretty common for one side to be slightly less flat or 'wonky' than the other due to that side having had more breast tissue than the other.

Congrats on your surgery! Hope it all went well! I know that it's normal for one side to be a bit bigger than the other while it all heals, but my chest was quite symmetrical pre op so I'm not sure if it's due to that reason. I'm probably worrying over nothing, but there's just so much swelling on one side compared to what Ive seen of other guys at the same stage post op. I know everyone heals differently and everyone's bodies are different, but Ive never seen anyone three weeks post op with so much swelling. My surgeon did say he'd have to drain it but I don't see him for another week and I'm a bit anxious about it all in the mean time. It's quite a lot bigger than the other side, I'll post a pic for reference.
