The smile.

The one we give and get when we turn a corner or the elevator door opens and there is another woman and you just share a smile and walk on.

Oh and not being looked on as a pervert if you look at someone's cute child and smile and laugh because they are cute. And you get the giggle back.

Not to sound like a suck-up, but reading threads like this and smiling about the little things I have to look forward to.

Being called young lady. My dad only calls me that when he's yelling or bitching at me but I'll happily take that over being called young man.

Roll,  we often talk about the big things in transition,  but it's the little things that often have the greatest value. Maybe you'll get to enjoy some of these, and even better, find your own too. X

Watching Strictly Come Dancing and wanting to dance the fox trot. Did some steps in my kitchen and found the ladies position felt natural (always wanted to be Ginger Rodgers)

Watching re-runs of Charmed.  I've wanted to be a witch since childhood.   Bewitched and I Dream of Jeannie are nice too.
