Hi guys my name is Mikaela, im 24 and I'm currently one month in on hormones. I've been trying to get this far for 6 years but i has many things that was "preventing" me from transitioning, like financially and having the courage, i ended up moving away a couple hours to get out of my comfort zone and now i live in a bigger city with new friends, i don't know hardly any one here, which makes it easier to never having to worry as much about seeing someone again if they were super rude. I'm extremely happy now then how i felt earlier this year and now i feel like i can sad about other things instead of only being sad that i havent started HRT yet, which is a great feeling :)

I also had a question, how do i add something to the bottem of what  say down below, like some poeple will have quotes or like a tracker for how long since they had surgery or hormones and what not.

Hello Mikaela!

Like you I just joined the site. As to your question regarding attachments, I just learned about those myself in the FAQ's. You and I are in a sort of "probationary" state. We are very restricted in what we can do until we reach 15 meaningful (aka not spam) posts. They do this to make sure that spammers, trolls, and other unwanted persons don't cause problems for those seeking a refuge from that sort of thing.

Not sure and don't mean to offend, so correct me if I'm wrong, but is English your second language, or is there a different issue. I'm far from a grammar Nazi, but I am a bit of a linguist and would love to help those who need it, even if only so that others may better understand them and not misconstrue what they say.

I wish you well in your transition and time spent on this site. Stay safe.

    HUGS!

Hello Mikaela, welcome to Susan's!

I am MtF, a couple months older than you ;) - I started my hormone prescription in July.  Glad to hear you are happier now, and live in an area where you are making new friends and exploring.  I didn't move as part of my transition but I can see where that would make some things easier.  And you're in two neighborhoods - your new city, and here at Susan's.

See you around!
