Hey Everyone,

This is a congratulations, thank you, and reminder.

In the wake of recent tragedies, such as the one in Las Vegas, unlike other social areas, (I'm looking at you Facebook and Youtube,) this is one area that we have been free from politicizing what the victims went through, other than in its respected topic group. Too often nowadays, sentiments for victims and their families gets turned immediately political for one side or the other, and basic human empathies get thrown by the wayside. The same thing tends to happen on topics that weren't about politics in the first place, one person or another takes the opportunity to steer the conversation towards a political agenda. So far I have yet to see it happen here. Good job peeps.

Just remember that whatever your stance on any issue, people are suffering and need compassion, not debate to get through the obstacles they face. Keep supporting each other.

BTW, not sure if this is the correct or most effective topic location for this thread, so moderators feel free to move it.

HUGS!
