He is trans himself (FtM- AND just like me gay) We were suppose to have about about 1/4 an hour on the phone, and well. I ended up crying with him on the phone. This was earlier last week. About Thursday or so October 5, I got a call. "Hey Jessilynn, I want you to meet this new surgeon. Your surgery is on hiatus still. But we are working on getting it reversed."
Friday morning I spoke with the new surgeon over Skype. He talked about many reasons WHY the other surgeon was full of crap. First off, the stress it'd cause on the body to keep reopening areas that have healed. Secondly, the increased risk of infection with each surgery. Thirdly an immense amount of scar tissue that has the potential to form, and NOT look well. And LASTLY! The cost to the hospital itself. The cost to have a patient come back 3 times AFTER the original surgery for a grand total of 4.
I was afraid to say it, as to why I want a working clitoris as well. But he beat me to the punchline. "
Plus I doubt you are wanting to become who you REALLY are, and just look at it and pee out of it. I am sure you want it to be as functional as we can make it."He was cracking jokes for our long ass introduction meeting! And yeah some may have considered them "
offensive" if they were overly sensitive, in fact I am willing to bet most WOULD find them quite offensive. I did not. Because he was gung-ho. Through the jokes, he had this "LET'S DO THIS!" attitude. He was showing pictures of his work, and honestly... I think I am very comfortable with him (which for me is odd because I am NOT normally comfortable around men).
We might have this figured out. But we still need to lift that hold.
And yes, I do have people willing to get involved if they need to, I have lawyers in my family (at least the extended half).
