Who does that?
We've only been broken up for a couple of months. Today I was stupid and did a google search on gay FTMs to kind of see what my chances would be (if I didn't have social anxiety) of ever finding another boyfriend. I stumbled across a forum that was nothing but gay cis men bashing gay FTMs. Naturally, I felt like a big heaping pile of, well, you know. Then my ex, who is still my roommate, comes home and asks me to help him meet gay men. I didn't even know how to respond to that. So I made a dumb joke and said I was keeping all the gay guys for myself. It was my off little way of telling him to take a hike.

You would think gay people would be understanding and accepting. But some gay people are worse than transphobic cis people. I think with some gay people it's a need to not feel so bad about themselves. " yes I'm gay but at least I'm not trans". Some minorities have the attitude of " I might be bad but they are worse". It's totally sad but it happens.

Sad, but true.  Cis gay men can be WAY worse.

I'd stay away from that website.  We may have it rough, but some (sad, angry little) men feel the need to insult a minority in order to feel superior in their tiny, little minds.  Pathetic.

To answer your first question: An ***hole.
I think sometimes exes do things like that fresh after a breakup because they're trying to test the boundaries. My ex (that was still living with me and eating up my income at the time, because she 'couldn't afford her own place') wanted me to drive her to this girl's house so they could have sex and then pick her up afterwards.

It escalated after that. If he keeps saying or doing insensitive/dumb things, just keep shooting him down and eventually you'll get your point across.
