... thanks a lot for the clip! I've just returned from Facial Team, had my consultation there last Friday. ...
Hi Saskia, thanks for watching the vid... and congrats on your consult!

... May I ask, how the heck did you film yourself all the time? Or did it somebody else? That must have been quite a hassle! Even while talking with Dr. Simon you still filmed the scene! I was way too excited to even be able to do several things at the same time....
Remembering my consultation I was hardly able to even think about taking a picture of somebody or myself, except one with my sweetie Sonja who took care of me in such a lovely way. ...
I am relatively new to vlogging/videography when interacting with others... As a newbie, it can be a pain at times to manage the cameras... but that's part of the no-pain-no-gain thing... I like the art form ... I think with any art or craft, there's always grunt work of some kind. Life has such tasks and we generally don't think about it. For example, doing the dishes... imagine if you're having a critical life discussion with an SO while you're doing dishes... well... you're able to do the dishes and hear your SO and respond vigorously, all while doing the dishes. Doing the dishes is not as much of a pain as the first time you ever did them, but it's always a little tedious... it's a task we'd like to avoid but it's got to be done. If you're having an interaction with your SO while doing the dishes, you don't really think about the dishes beyond the bare minimal required so with cameras I feel it's like you have to go through the initial pain to get used to it like doing dishes. I personally think capturing footage is the most difficult part... that's what you're referring to.
Vlogging can present challenges for someone who is generally shy or doesn't want to bother others... I tend to keep to myself so vlogging challenges my introversion. Once footage is captured... then I can become an introvert and get in front of the computer and put it all together... that latter part can be grueling but it doesn't challenge the introversion... so vlogging/videography seems to challenge me a lot of a ways, including socially. Unless I'm a nature photographer, it seems difficult to do unless I'm willing to interact with others. Thank you for asking me about this... it was good for me to answer this so I could see this very answer!

Let me ask, it seems like you had a kind of 'consultation' or premiliary examination just before your surgery. Did you have your very first consultation via Skype then?
I had Skype'd with them 3 times in 2016... like Jan, Jun/Jul... and sometime in the fall like Sep/Oct. When arriving in 2017, I felt I already sort of knew them... we had already worked out I was getting forehead and likely chin but I'd never met Dr. Simon before... that consult was my first time... so he was just formally looking over my case based on actual CT Scans... when you do Skype, it's informal with pictures... when there, as you know, it's with CT Scans... so the real consult is always there in Spain... either before surgery or if you go there specifically for a consultation. I think all consultations without CT Scans (i.e., Skype) are preliminary/informal.
Yeah... you know I had agonized over so many FFS-related things for like 3 or 4 years... by the time I got there in 2017, I had no concerns... so I knew what I wanted and could easily say "yes", "yes", "sounds great", "yes" ...

... Take my word for it... that was night and day compared to where I was at a year prior... by the time I got there I had gained a lot of faith in their work so wasn't worried.
